Tips for smooth automation

Follow these tips so your messages reach customers every time.

Use the right number formatCountry code + number, no + or leading 0 – for example 917620798265.
Use approved templatesOutside the 24-hour chat window, WhatsApp only allows approved templates.
Message opted-in customersOnly send to people who agreed to hear from you. It keeps your quality rating high.
Test with your own numberRun the workflow once with your number before switching it on for customers.
Keep your token privateStore the API token in the tool’s secure credentials – never in public pages.
Watch for errorsAdd an error path or notification so you know if a message could not be sent.

📥 Also possible: get replies in Salesforce

Turn on the webhook in your WATick panel and every WhatsApp reply can flow back into Salesforce – to update a lead, add a note, save to a sheet or alert your team.
